Half of Ohio's hospitals have been operating at a loss since 2022. Medicaid changes could push hundreds of thousands off coverage. A federal AI pilot is already making Medicare decisions in our state. Upstream is where the people who can actually do something about it sit down together, at one table, for one afternoon.
Upstream brings policymakers, clinicians, hospital leaders, technology companies, patients, and community voices into the same room, and designs the afternoon around what actually moves healthcare forward: the right people, relationships before business, patients at the center, and conversations that lead to action.
This is our first Upstream. It's a pilot, and we're treating it that way, small enough to be personal, ambitious enough to matter.
